Matching Granny backs...

So this week i've been concentrating on the backs of the Crysanthemum cushions

I've chosen to use a traditional granny, to compliment the front pattern

Both colours are nearly complete

So its just the finishing and the joining left to do

I can't wait to get them completed, as the end point is the most tedious for me and I'm always eager to get started on something new
plus of course I can't wait to see how they turn out

I've also managed to upload 3 of my cushions into my Folksy store, so i'm getting there slowly but surely

This week it was time to upgrade my phone

so i'll be having a play and hopefully be able to capture even better photos

Nothingness...

My cushion inserts have arrived, so no more excuses, I need to start completing some projects now...

After having worked the Easter bank holidays, it meant I managed to get 3 lovely days off in a row.
Pure bliss to relax at home, with no plans, no pressure, just nothingness...
Ok, so we did do a bit of spring cleaning, and a couple of walks to start strengthening hubby's knee, but otherwise it was being sloth-like on the sofa in front of the tv...

I concentrated on one project, rather than dipping in and out, and finished the background to my green-toned square. It took a bit of adjusting to fit the pad, but its now ready for its spring flower decorations. I'm not sure whether i'll be sensible and plan, or if i'll dive straight in and make as i go...

This weeks mood square

Lilac for relaxation, interspersed with green for work in between.

Until next week...
