I did a bit more needle-felting this week. I had my first try of doing something 3D.
I had a heart shaped cookie cutter, so I used this as my mould.
I chose my colours from my range of wool roving.
I pulled off small tufts of wool, and layered them in the mould.
I then used the specialist needle to keep stabbing at the wool,
until the fibres start to bind together.
Then the mould can be slipper off .
And the piece can be decorated.
They are really lovely and thank you for such a clear explantion of how to do this. The colours you've chosen are beautiful
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous - and you make them look so easy! I love the idea of using the mould to shape them.

ReplyDeleteSoo cute. Sounds like a satisfying craft if you have some aggression to get rid of!
