From corner to corner...

Very little to show you this week, as all I've been working on is a square

I've also been keeping up with my mood flowers daily. Although i'm a bit behind with all the ends!

Haven't managed to do anything socially at all this month, but it's been successful craft wise, here's to the next month where we hope to get a better work/home/social balance

We are off for our annual Cornish visit tomorrow, so I'll see you in a fortnight!

Chrysanthemum colourways...

So it was back home and back to work this week, and it doesn't take long to feel like you've not been away! Not got much to show you this week. I've been continuing with my Chrysanthemum pattern, working it in the other colours. Starting with the orange flower

and squaring it off with the green

these colours are a bit out of my comfort zone, but i'm liking the retro feel of them

this cushion will need some serious blocking, but i'm liking how it's turned out so far

the weather has been a bit all over the place this week, makes us feel very lucky we'd had such lovely warmth and sun whilst we were away

Another month has slipped by ever so quickly. Time just flies so quick these days it leaves my head in a spin! This is a little round-up of April, sadly lacking in crafts, so I really need to make a bigger effort in May and see if I can keep with time just a little bit!

So i'm off to get my head down and my hook out, lets get cracking...

January squares....

This weeks mood blanket square is made of two different colours. Firstly the pink, as things had settled at home, finances were getting sorted, and despite being a bit cluttered and surrounded by stuff, we had made a start working through the boxes.

The second ball used was a multi-toned yarn, predominantly green, but with some yellow and cream too. This summed up work, which is pretty quiet, but still managing to bring stress and frustration

I like how the squares are all turning out so completely different

And already a whole month has gone by!

I haven't had much chance to work on my mini squares, as i've not managed to have much free time

But I did begin the joining process, and have worked the first two strips together

Am hoping to be able to have a lot more of the front joined by next time
