Natural treasures...

Just a quick check in this week, as work has been hectic, so ive been pretty tired and plus had a fall on Fri which meant a stop off at A & E and a sore swollen knee to contend with..

We did manage to have a pleasant day on Thursday when the weather turned out like a beautiful summers day.



                        We made the most of it, staying local and taking stroll along the beach.


We decided to go beachcombing, to look for natural treasures


and we found our biggest haul of sea glass to date, all be it quite tiny pieces


No surprise that very little crafting has occurred this week


but I am adding to both projects whenever I get the chance, and energy


Each round is taking a lot longer to do on the Mandala now that it's expanding in size!
Hopefully I can have a slightly less challenging week and make a bit more progress!

    All looking beautiful, its nice to be near the beach to be able to go and stroll on fabulous days. Will you do anything crafty with your treasures and sea glass?

      I've seen an idea on IG to put them inside a little glass necklace ball, I fancy making one for myself :)

    Sorry to hear about your fall but good that you were still able to enjoy the spell of decent spring weather.
    I'm also interested to see if you make or do anything with the sea glass, it's so pretty.

    What a wonderful view of the sea, think about time we went to Emsworth to get a sniff of the salted air, lol.

    The mandala is fantastic and that sea glass is so pretty

    Oooo I hope your recovering after your fall, make sure you rest.
    Love the seaglass, it's so pretty. I love collecting shells, I have 'a few' I've collected over the years. :)

    Great find with the sea glass. We're in a bay here so not much washes up except seaweed! Love seeing your crochet WIPs. I look forward to seeing the end result!
