After having worked the Easter bank holidays, it meant I managed to get 3 lovely days off in a row.
Pure bliss to relax at home, with no plans, no pressure, just nothingness...
Ok, so we did do a bit of spring cleaning, and a couple of walks to start strengthening hubby's knee, but otherwise it was being sloth-like on the sofa in front of the tv...
I concentrated on one project, rather than dipping in and out, and finished the background to my green-toned square. It took a bit of adjusting to fit the pad, but its now ready for its spring flower decorations. I'm not sure whether i'll be sensible and plan, or if i'll dive straight in and make as i go...
This weeks mood square
Lilac for relaxation, interspersed with green for work in between.
Until next week...
Crochet soothes the soul! Love that green too.
ReplyDeletewell done for concentrating on one project!! - not easy for any of us!!
ReplyDeleteThe mood squares are coming along nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing lots of lovely cushion projects x
ReplyDeleteI like all the neutral colours in your crochet. Interesting wool.
ReplyDeleteIt's great when you can just focus on one project - I'm far too much of a butterfly brain to stick to anything for too long.
ReplyDeleteOooh i think go freestyle with your spring flowers, nature does! The stripy background is so pretty, i can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've had some lovely down time this week :) x
Have a blissful and craftful weekend! x
